The project initiated the cataloguing and system of architectural artefacts and infrastructures for the exploitation of water as an energy resource, which arose at different times in the Piave basin and since the eleventh century. The main objective is to build a background of references from the past that can be reinterpreted in the light of climate change to design new devices to generate energy in harmony with the ecological system. Through the construction of interpretative maps (with gis software) a first critical reworking of the data collected, both historical and current, was carried out, highlighting the centuries-old stratification of the hydromechanical and hydroelectric works of the Piave. Starting from the Transept methodology, a series of areas of interest along the basin have been selected on which 3D digital models have been built.
